So if you thought my 24-hour tour of a couple places to eat in Providence, R.I., qualified as whirlwind, then my foodie time in Philly was a veritable lightning strike. I was there on a completely unrelated story, and thanks to various factors, by the time I was done with my main interview in Center City, I had only about an hour to pack in as much food as I could. (Actually, it worked out to be about half an hour, but that makes for a messier headline.) So I figured I could either hit a single restaurant like reader favorite Amada or grab small bites at a bunch of smaller places. I chose the latter. Once again, I relied on the suggestions from you all.
